    Hi
    My fridge freezer model SR-S2028CSS has developed a fault.
    Neither the freezer nor the fridge compartment is keeping a constant temperature. When you turn it off it reboots itself then freezes down to a point then the compressor cuts out and it then the temperature steadily rises. I have pressed and held the two top buttons and the code that is lighted up is the right hand number eight, bottom left hand corner of the right number 8, one single LED light in a vertical position. Please can you help on what I need to do and what parts I need to order. I have been searching your website for an answer but can’t find one.

    Hi, I have looked at the model number on my fridge it says RSH1 D8RS it is a 2 drawer model and has the problems no water and high temperaturer in the fridge. Which kit would I need and would I be able to install it myself (I have basic diy skills) does it need to be fixed from the inside or do I need to pull fridge out to repair from the back regards Donna

      I’ve just read your comments on our website and the symptoms can be remedied by fitting the genuine Samsung RSH1 repair kit which is designed to fit the problem you have.

      I’ve spoken with our chief engineer regarding your comments on our website he confirms that you can fit the repair kit from inside without the need to pull the appliance out.     I have a samsung RS21 fridge / Freezer with Coolzone. The fan section has frozen up a few times. The first time I defrosted the whole fridge freezer for 4 days, and the fridge then worked fine for a couple of weeks before freezing up again. The second time I dismantled the back section of the fridge and defrosted it thoroughly before re-assembling, but the fan has started to make the same noise again after a week or so. Is this due to faulty parts in the fan section and would your kit solve this problem?

      I’ve just read your comments previously and the symptoms you have with your RS21 appliance can be remedied with the genuine Samsung RS21 repair kit which is designed to remedy it.

      Please verify that you definitely have a Coolzone model before ordering as the kits for the standard RS21 and the RS21 Coolzone are very different. If you have a J or K after the RS21 model number then you definitely have a Coolzone model.

    I live in italy and I’ve some problem with my samsung RS21DJPS model.
    I’m not able to identify the right repair kit ( wich of 109 gbp or which of 134 gbp? ) could you help me please?….
    I have another samsung fridge with the same problems as RS21FCSM …the repair kit is the same?

      You are quoting the model number of the standard RS21 so that is the repair kit you will require. However there are two things I must draw your attention to
      1) The cost of postage to Italy is higher than the postage displayed on our website which is for the UK only
      2) Assuming that you purchased the appliance in Italy. We will require pictures of the appliance, both outside and inside, particularly the area behind the drawers to determine that your appliance is a standard European appliance

    Hi
    The freezer part of my Samsung SR-S2029CSS just doesn’t hold down the temperature to -23dC and intermittently keeps warming going up to -8dC and the food started to melt.
    Also the fridge part doesn’t seem to be cooling down/holding temperature down to 2dC or even 5dC.
    I also need to change the water filter cartridge which the indcatior is on red.
    What might be wrong with the fridge freezer? Is it worth repairing? I Would be grateful for any advice and help you might have for me.

    Hi – I have a Samsung RS21DPSM. The water has stopped being dispensed at the front of the freezer door, although the water supply to the ice maker seems fine.
    We have had the fridge freezer for just over 5 years, so out of warranty.
    I had a quick look in the back panel and I presume that I need to replace the valve (solenoid). Can you please recommend a replacement part and installation instructions.
