Hi, I have had problems with regards to the water dispenser not working which i have rectified, but the fridge/freezer is leaking from the fridge side on the floor.
Any ideas please?

I’ve spoken to our chief engineer, and he says this is likely to be the water bottle that has split.
If you take the drawers out you will actually be able to see the water bottle, and if you inspect it you will most likely see the water coming out. Depending how much it has already spilt you may need to draw some water before it become apparent.
Patrick, do you want to take a look and confirm it is the water bottle.
If it does require a replacement we can supply them usually from stock.

My problem is that my Samsung SRS2028 is stone dead. The only thing that is woring is the lights in the freezer and in the fridge. No fans, no compressor, no display. I have mesured the fuse on the pcb-board and thats ok. Any idea?

With reference to the comments you left on our website it may possibly be your ice maker which is throwing both out.
You should however have some error message on one of the two figure of eight displays
There are actually 2 sets of 88 one for the fridge and one for the freezer.
The display is in a figure of eight and the position of the LED display will indicate what the potential problem is. However we must know which of the 2 88 you are referring too.
Please advise the exact location of the error message and which of the two sections you are referring Fridge or freezer 88 LED displays?

I’ve a Samsung American f/f about 7yrs old model no RS21DCN51/XEU And i’m having a few problems with same .
1. The water dispenser has stopped working months ago .
2. There is a ice build around the vent on the left side .
3 . I also have the occasional loud fan noise that stops when the fridge door is opened .
Will you’re fixing kit remedy the problems and is there any fire issues involved with the fan been faulty ? Regards alan
In response to your question on our website, yes the Genuine Samsung RS21 repair kit will remedy the problems you are experiencing. I can’t get hold of our chief engineer until tomorrow, but I don’t believe there are any immediate fire problems. Obviously with any electrical appliance there is always fire risk so the soon you order and fit the repair kit the better. I will however check with our chief engineer.
From the model number you have quoted you have a standard RS21.
The repair kit is easy to fit and requires no technical experience. You have access to a video which shows you exactly what to do. Furthermore you have access to our chief engineers whose telephone number you are provided with the repair kit so should you have any questions you can call him.

Hi, We have a Samsung RSH1DTMH with a fridge temperature problem. It appears to be a similar problem to that which Trish described (25/06/12) It is just over 3 years old (I think) and the temperature of the fridge fluctuates between 9 and 14 degrees but it never goes below 9. My fridge freezer is packed full and is set at -18. There does not appear to be any fan noise.
Could you clarify whether I require thenrepair kit or not, and advise what length of time is required to fit the items.

I’ve just read your comments previously and the symptoms you have with your RS21 appliance can be remedied with the genuine Samsung RS21 repair kit. The noise is caused by the fact your fridge is icing up. The reapir kit contains all the modified parts to remedy it.
i have a samsung sr-s2029cvw (ss0wh2/xeu), when on for 24hours it beeps & temp stays at 8% in fridge & freezer, i also get the rattle from fridge door also.
if i set it to manual it works for 1 day ok & then loses tempature & you have to reset it again and works for another day.

I suggest that initially you take a look at the water bottles behind the salad drawers; you are likely to find these are frozen. As a temporary fix and to prove that is the problem, you can gently use a hairdryer to defrost them. That would get things working temporarily.
For a proper fix the symptoms you have with your appliance can we fixed by installing the genuine Samsung SRS repair kit which is designed to remedy it.

Hello i seem to have a problem common with a lot of guys on this thread.
Friday a noise from my fridge could be heard.I noticed ice around the left cover inside the fridge i defrosed the fridge and when i took the cover off noticed ice around the fan.
I compleatly defrosed the fridge put everything back and reset the whole system.
But now the fridge temp only goes down to 12 degrees.Although before the fridge temp was ok even with the noise.How long after defrosting and switching the fridge back on does it normally take to reach the correct temp. I have read some reports on the net that it can take 24 hours.
This seems a long time?

My Samsung RS2 is making a noise, I had ice build up inside on the back left hand side so I defrosted it.
The fridge temperature is still on 10 , I can’t seem to get the temperature any lower. Also the blue light that is in the back of the fridge is not on, any suggestions on how to rectify this problem will be much appreciated.
