i have bought a complete evaporator kit-when stripped everything out it was obvious that the original part was soldered in so i cut pipes and tried connecting rubber connectors???? how do i install new unit part no280596204942 RS21 samsung fridgefreezer. When i connected new component it had rubber bungs which i pulled off -lost some gas when all connected up fridge and freezer wouldnt cool so it was worse-please help-Gary

Unfortunately if you have actually cut through pipes you may have caused serious damage to your appliance. It may well be un repairable.
