Hi,
Both fridge and freezer on my Samsung RSH1DTMH have stopped working. The appliance is 5 years old. No cooling at all in both compartments. Holding the top two buttons for 10 seconds displays no error codes and just a blank screen which reverts back to the normal temperature display settings. Currently the display is reading 20 degrees for the freezer and 13 degrees for the fridge. Any feedback/trouble shooting would be much appreciated.

Its unusual for both the fridge and the freezer to fail together
The very first thing to check is if the Ice Maker is the cause of the problem as this can cause both the fridge and freezer to fail, and knocks them both out of action.
Both the fridge and the freezer have a LED Display which is like a digital figure 88. Check to see if there are any lights being displayed.

I have the RSH1NHSW model and both the freezer and fridge have stopped working. There is still power to the appliance (lights are all on)
However everything in the freezer has thawed. Freezer temp is -1 and fridge 11. (despite being set to -21 and 1)
My model does not have an ice maker.

My Samsung RSH1 – neither the fridge or freezer is working although the digital display is working. Temperature on display shows +16 (approx), & unable to reset to correct temperature.

My samsung rs1 has ceased working… I opened the freezer door, the light went out and the RCBO in my fuse box had tripped.
Now it doesn’t switch on at all – I’ve checked the fuse which is fine!
Any ideas? Cheers!
Ive emailed you directly. Its likely to be the fuse in the module on the top of the applaince. you can buy a replacement fuse form somewhere like Maplins. Remember to power off your appliance. SAFETY FIRST
bought it yesterday, started it today and after 6 hrs the tempreature is still showing high on both fridge nd freezer. no difference even by -1 . pls help.
