How to Check which SRS Model You Have
It’s important to make sure you purchase the correct kit. If you are unsure which model of the Samsung Fridge Freezer you have you will need to check the model number as follows.
You will find the model number by opening door of the fridge and looking for a sticker that will be approximately at eye level on either of the two side walls.
Alternatively you can find a barcode sticker on the outside of the appliance on the bottom left hand side.

samsung RS21DCNS . freezer is dropping temp from -23 to -2 if I unplug it from the mains and back on it comes back to -23 after about 2hours. There is all so a build up of ice in the lower part of the fridge. can this be fixted by defrosting??
I’ve spoken with our chief engineer and you have two separate issues
The fridge icing up can be cured my fitting a genuine Samsung SRS repair kit. You can keep defrosting it, but it will only provide a short term fix so you will soon get fed up with doing it.
The freezer issue sounds like a bit of a funny one …has you tried the self-diagnostic? – this involves pushing the top left and top right buttons in together for 10 seconds – if there are any errors they will show up re the segments lighting up. By segments I mean you have a figure 88 display for each of the fridge and freezer and the sequence of led lights indicate an error code.
If you let me know which error code / led lights appear for the freezer I will refer to our chief engineer…?
Hi I’ve got a samsung fridge freezer model:RS21DCN. Model code RS21DCNS1/XEU. Water not working,replaced filiter still no joy and the fridge side makes a noise untill I open the door and now the fridge part is not cooling properly.Is this all conected to the same falt?Will purchesing a SRS Repair kit off you solve this?

I’ve spoken with our chief engineer regarding your comments on our website and he confirms the RS21 genuine repair kit with all the modified parts will remedy the problem.
I’m not sure why you are asking if you should buy the SRS repair kit when you are saying you have an RS21 Model quote “Hi I’ve got a samsung fridge freezer model:RS21DCN.”
You need an RS21 repair kit NOT an SRS repair kit. They are very different model.

I live and bought my SRS 59 HN SS Fridge/Freezer in Perth, Western Australia. Like most other folks, the five year old machine is icing up every four-six weeks. Are your repair kits suitable for this model and do you ship Down Under?

I have a Samsung side by side model RSH1FTSW I unplugged the fridge freezer to move it, now the control panel is dead except one LCD segment in bottom right of display in vertical position. Any ideas as I am worried that the temperature will rise and ruin the freezer contents.
With reference to your comments you left on our website, you say you have an RSH1 but have left your comments on the SRS page, so I’m not sure which model you really have so you will need to clarify.
There are actually 2 sets of 88 one for the fridge and one for the freezer, which set are you referring too?

I have a srs584dp which is a few years old and originally bought over from NZ. It was working fine until I had a number of power cuts in the house which caused it not to cool the fridge & freezer properly. The bottom of both are cool but not the top. I’m not sure if your kits will help with this model or problem, would be great to get some advise.
